security council (usa)
The National Security Council Crisis Committee is set at a critical point in history, simulating the inner chambers of the United States’ highest strategic body at a time when global influence is actively contested. Operating within a historical freeze date, delegates are immersed in an environment where decisions are immediate, consequential, and often covert. With the agenda focused on strengthening the nation’s political, economic, and military power across key regions of interest, the committee places participants at the centre of American grand strategy. In a world defined by ideological rivalry, shifting alliances, and emerging threats, delegates are entrusted with safeguarding and expanding U.S. influence through a combination of diplomacy, economic leverage, and military capability. The absence of modern hindsight requires decisions to be grounded in the realities and constraints of the time, where miscalculation can carry significant geopolitical consequences. This committee demands strategy, precision and adaptability. Delegates must navigate complex national dynamics and craft directives, both overt and covert, that support national interests while mitigating the risks of escalation in an increasingly volatile global order.
