DSMUN this year is about something simple, but powerful, it is about creating a space where young people can come together, speak honestly, and care deeply. We’re living in a world that’s changing fast. It’s messy, complicated, and at times, overwhelming.
But what gives us hope is this: the conversations we have, the ideas we share, and the people we become when we challenge each other to think harder and feel more. DSMUN 2025 isn’t about being the best speaker in the room, it’s about being real. It’s about delegates who show up with curiosity, with compassion, and with the courage to ask: what kind of world do we actually want to build?

This year, we want every delegate to leave DSMUN with more than just awards or certificates. We want them to walk away with a new sense of confidence—one that comes from speaking honestly and standing up for what they believe in. This confidence doesn’t just help them in the conference, but in every part of their life, from classrooms to the real world.
We also want delegates to learn the true value of listening—not just hearing words, but understanding where others are coming from. In a world filled with noise, listening with empathy can be just as powerful as speaking. Our hope is that delegates leave DSMUN not only feeling heard but knowing how to listen and work with others to create positive change.
